Dear Fellow IARPP Members,

It’s wintertime in New York and the weather has been anything but boring. Cold and snowy one day, warm and balmy the next -- a climate for every temperament and soul. More than ever New York City is all things to all people. Yes, you got that right -- we’re inviting you from every climate and corner of the globe to join us in the Big Apple for the IARPP March 2012 conference “Sustaining our Creativity: The Work of Stephen Mitchell.”

In this issue we feature the impressive line-up for the Saturday night party. We’ve got great music, dancing, and desserts in store for you. Please be sure to sign up and come celebrate IARPP’s 10th Anniversary!

In this issue you will find:

NEWS ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

● Information about the panels, plenaries, registration and hotel
“Meet the Mitchell Scholars”: a first look at our invited panel of analysts contributing to the growth of relational psychoanalysis
● Details about Saturday night’s party
eNews Staff Favorites for what to do in New York City

IN OTHER NEWS:

● Anna Christina Sundgren reports on the state of “Relational Psychoanalysis in Sweden
● Sally Rudoy reports on her recent trip in “Not Your Momma’s China”

If you cannot join us, please be assured that we will keep you informed about what happened here. In a post-conference edition of the eNews we will report on the events and highlights of the program.

Wishing all of you the best and a wonderful start to the new year.
